Sir,I am Chai Yee Toong from section 11. Actually, toastmaster club is a club that can help people to gain great communication and practice skills, so that people are able to speak or present confidently in front of audiences. This club will organize some activities such as conducting meeting, giving impromptu speeches, presenting prepared speeches and offering constructive evaluation, so that people have the opportunity to practise. This helps people are able to express themselves effectively.

Eventhough my friend told about toastmastes 2 years back but i didn't bear in my mind.After i found out about it this morning, i knew that toastmasters tend to attract a lot of motivational speaker wannabies who can be quite annoying and strange to those of who simply want to learn how to not to be terrified when making a presentation.They offering lot of activities where we can geared up ourself to become a great speaker.So if can we can workout together to open up a toastmasters club in this university.

It also helps people to sharpen their leadership and communication skills. Besides, it is a nonprofit organization that don't have any instructor. ReplyDeleteHow does it helps?As my information,most of the programs in toastmaster club is about learn-by-doing.Participants have to hone thier speaking in a meeting,learn about comunications skills such as humor and gesture,given a chance and respondsible to lead and also give impromtu talks on any assign topic.Every presentation will be evaluated.In my opinion,the toastmaster's programs is a very effective way to help those very weak in speak in front of audiance.Chau Chien.

This club, which has started since 1924 at the YMCA in Santa Ana, California has grown to the entire world, nearly every country. As for me, the club helps me by creating meaningful gestures that will add impact to my speech. Improve my PowerPoint slides and flipchart notes skills and it also teach me to handle humor with poise.

ReplyDeleteEventhough my friend told about toastmastes 2 years back but i didn't bear in my mind.After i found out about it this morning, i knew that toastmasters tend to attract a lot of motivational speaker wannabies who can be quite annoying and strange to those of who simply want to learn how to not to be terrified when making a presentation.They offering lot of activities where we can geared up ourself to become a great speaker.So if can we can workout together to open up a toastmasters club in this university.
ReplyDeleteAHMAD AZZREEN BIN DALAWI E02. The Toastmaster Clubs is an organization that is purposely to help people around the whole world to be more relax in from of audiences. It also helps people to sharpen their leadership and communication skills. Besides, it is a nonprofit organization that don't have any instructor. Every week, members will meet for about 2-3 hours and talk to each other about positive manners. That's all from me.

ReplyDeletehii...everyone i new here...for my information i get Toastmasters is helping people become more competent and comfortable in front of an audience.In their meetings are comprised of approximately 20 people who meet weekly for an hour or two.They practice and learn skills by filling a meeting role,meeting is critiqued by a member in a positive manner, focusing on what was done right and what could be improved.

Its function also want to help us learn the arts of speaking, listening, and thinking. First of all, i want to focus more about this club that helping in presentation skills. This organization also help members of club to practice communication skills and teach us to become a good leadership. They provide an enjoyable activity to make their objective to achieve such as workshops,meetings and others. "There is no instructor in a Toastmasters meeting" is good idea because actually members of club also an audience.The speakers can receive many kind of feedback from attender of the meeting at that time. I hope can join this club to become a great engineer.

ReplyDeleteHello Sir, I'm Siti Fatimah Tooeman from E02LB. From my research, I found that Toastmasters club has been builded in 1924 at the YMCA in Santa Ana, California and used to help people in their presentation skills.
Usually, Toastmasters meetings are held for approximately 20 people who meet weekly for an hour or two. Participants practice and learn skills by filling a meeting role, ranging from giving a prepared speech or an impromptu one to serving as timer, evaluator or grammarian.
Without an instructor, each speech and meeting is critiqued by a member in a positive manner, focusing on what was done right and what could be improved. There are 10 main tips and techniques should be taken so that we can help ourselves to overcome our fear factor in order to become a good speaker as well as a good leader. In my point of view, this club is essential for student like me so that I can gain high confident level when I speak in front of the crowds.

ReplyDeleteI’m Nur Atiqah bt Yaacob from E02.In my research,Toastmaster Club is quite interesting.It’s a club that help and teach people how to develop the communication and leadership skills.It is organized by a group of professionals.For example,the Extol Toastmaster Club in USJ,Subang Jaya,Malaysia.Their mission is to provide a safe and conducive environment for members to learn communication and leadership skills which will foster self actualization.It really help for those who have the difficulty to do a presentation.

I have read about the toastmaster club. In my opinion the toastmaster club was build to help people in communication skills and presentation skills in. Its main objective was to make people to have their own confidence when communicate with others and do presentation effectively. From this club, the participants would be more competent with other people. Thus it will make participants to improve their communication skills. This club or organization also give people some tips to communicate smoothly and help people practice in speaking more frequently.
